Jim Ellerbee, personally, has more than thirty years of experience managing multi-million dollar projects and technology strategies for global financial institutions. Jim’s experience includes:

• Investment banking, private banking, asset management, corporate banking, trading, settlement, clearing, over-the-counter and exchange operations
• Directing operations and overseeing one of the largest global fund-of-hedge-fund businesses in the world
• Developing, implementing and reviewing strategies for extremely complex structured products businesses
• Developing organizations, processes and the technical infrastructure necessary to support enterprise-level, mission-critical eCommerce applications
• Managing the various aspects of one of the largest Java-based Internet projects in the United States
• Managing the technology direction for several large foreign exchange businesses
• Directing large, multi-tiered business and technology projects
• Designing and establishing new technology platforms, as well as support from inception
• Managing international client and staff relationships (Middle East, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America)
• Negotiating technology issues related to tax, treaties, legal, compliance and regulatory reporting internationally
• Developing the business and technology framework for European regulatory reporting
• Developing end-to-end processing for: hedge funds, fund-of-hedge-funds (FoHFs), structured derivatives and hybrid products, foreign exchange cash and derivatives, commodities, equity and fixed-income derivatives, listed and over-the-counter equities, fixed income cash securities, treasury funding and other financial business areas
• Collaborating on merger-related planning and execution activities (with intimate involvement in more than one dozen mergers)
